Oregon Rinks Initiative: Building Momentum
What have we done so far?
We’re making real progress toward expanding ice sports access across Oregon. Here’s what we’ve accomplished so far:
-
Secured essential rink equipment to power our first projects
-
Partnered with local municipalities to advocate for year-round public ice access
-
Actively scouting locations for a new recreational facility in the Salem/Keizer area
-
Pursuing a flagship pilot project — a full-size NHL rink at the Oregon State Fairgrounds, targeted for Winter 2025–2026
Your support helps transform these milestones into permanent, community-driven ice sports facilities. Join us in growing the future of skating in Oregon.

Project Timeline - We Need Your Help
Immediate Need: $130K by June 15
To move the ORI Pilot Project forward, we need to raise $130,000 by June 15th.
•This funding is critical to complete an essential electrical upgrade at the Oregon State Fairgrounds.
•Without this upgrade, the rink cannot be installed for the 2025 pilot season.
•We are currently collecting pledges to assess if this fundraising goal is achievable.
